Hey Hey!

Jackie Chapman here. I thought I would say hi!

I have been a Fan of Costuming since LotR. And after stealing a Design Template from my High School's Sewing Teacher, I found I had a nack for designing.

I Love Sci-Fi and have a few costumes in the Works at the moment, including Firefly, Tin Man, and Stargate. Also I am a huge fan of Fantasy. I have a costume from A Knight's Tale for October's Armageddon.

I want to make some Historical Garb from the Victorian Era, and Medieval ...

I'm confused about who is going to May Crown. Either people keep changing their minds (e.g. like me) or I'm not paying enough attention.

I've now decided to go. I think Anna and Nadia (what's her SCA name?) said they couldn't. Cat and Mina, you're both going? And I seem to remember Mistress Katherine said she would. Does anyone know if Maria or Tristan are?

On Saturday 19th of April 2008, MOTAT will be celebrating the completion of restoration on the Western Springs Pumphouse Beam Engine. After 80 years of lying dormant and 15 years of restorative works, we invite you to come and witness this grand old machine come back to life! Other engines and exhibits will be on site for this unique and momentous day.
